Minivan Mom… and proud of it!

The boys are growing up and starting to need way more space, so a minivan just keeps seeming like more of a reality. With such precious cargo, the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica offers the room I need for growing boys and the safety features that no mom wants to be without.

With 243 possible seating configurations, the Pacifica is designed for comfort and cargo. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the captain’s chairs in the back and even ventured to the 3rd row to explore. Not for long though since the enticing entertainment is built into the back of the driver and passenger seats. Berrett was even able to help put the Stow ‘n Go third row down with the touch of a button when we required more storage space for the chairs, cooler and blankets needed for the movie in the park. The Stow ‘n Vac also came in handy for cleaning up leftover popcorn and dog hair.

When the boys weren’t helping me with the easy-to-use power buttons or effortlessly loading and unloading the Pacifica, they were entranced by the 10.1-inch HD touchscreens with Blue-ray player, dual HDMI inputs, wireless headphones, wireless streaming, Bluetooth remotes and available games and apps. Let’s be honest, Berrett spent most of the time playing games. He also wanted to open and close the doors every time with the hands-free power sliding doors and liftgate, open the tri-pane panoramic power sunroof and pull up the screens on the windows to keep his brother cool.

Mom also enjoyed the technology as well. Without having to take my eyes off the road, the Apple CarPlay would allow me to use Siri or the Uconnect touchscreen so that I could access music and maps and even make calls or send text messages. When not enjoying the Apple music, the SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio was also a luxury. The luxuries in the Pacifica are endless: leather-trimmed seats, ventilated front seats, 566-mile total driving range, and 20-inch black noise wheels. Moms need to have fun too.

Of course, safety is number 1 when a mom is driving her boys all over town, so it is nice to know the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica was named “Best Buy” for the second year in a row by Consumers Digest and 2018 Family Car of the Year by Cars.com. The safety features are a huge contributor to these rewards. They include surround view camera, full-speed forward collision warning, automated emergency braking, parking assistance and adaptive cruise control. I felt invincible on the road and never once worried about the safety of my precious cargo.

The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica definitely allows one to Drive Like a Super Family and the MSRP of $26,995 makes this car even more super. With 19/28 mpg and a 3.6 L V6 24V VVT engine, this minivan offers even more than comfort and cargo. The boys are just going to continue growing and the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica is the perfect vehicle for them to do it in.
