COLOR ME HONDA
2020 Honda CR-V 1.5 AWD

Fall is upon us and it’s my favorite time of year. All of the colors that resemble fall such as orange, red, yellow, brown and Aegean Blue? Oh, I’m sorry, that’s the color of the amazing 2020 Honda CR-V 1.5 AWD my mom and I were test driving this week. That color made me feel anything but blue. I was super impressed with the CR-V and how it took my pumpkins to get their pumpkins.
Let’s start by pointing out What’s New for the CR-V in 2020. The 1.5 turbocharged engine is now standard, more safety features are standard on every model level and of course, the beautiful revised exterior. The Honda CR-V is a sharp looking car. It touts a power moon roof with tilt feature for those cool fall nights and observing the gorgeous sunsets we have here in Arizona. Check out the chrome dual exhaust for a sporty look and sharp looking 19” alloy wheels.
Features on the Honda CR-V such as the hands-free access power tailgate made it super easy for me and the girls to throw our pumpkins in the trunk. I mean, they wouldn’t want to put down their hot chocolate for one second, right?!? Along those same lines, the CR-V was surprisingly roomy for the kids. It has wide rear/front door openings which allowed for a little less contact while the girls climbed in. Once inside, the interior seating allowed for plenty of social distancing. It is a small SUV so any more than four in the vehicle and it would be a little snug.
When we made our way down the open road to the pumpkin patch, I noticed the engine size gave me the feel of power and making corners very smooth. The CR-V is very easy to control (unlike my kids), and I felt extremely safe driving it. Lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, collision monitoring and adaptive cruise control. I always say, the more assistance, the better.
The navigation screen was just the right size and is easy to read. Although I did not play around with it as much as I would have liked to, I did read that there is some room for improvement. My experience with it worked out just fine and locating the patch was easy!
Overall, the 2020 Honda CR-V-AWD is a great vehicle for a small SUV. It has plenty of cargo space including roof racks for overflow. The latest and greatest exterior design makes me feel all warm and cozy inside like a pumpkin spiced latte. I enjoyed our trek out to the pumpkin patch and the color of the car really stood out like the perfect pumpkin. Go visit your Honda dealer today and see if you can find your perfect color Honda.
