Let’s Go MEETUP with the Sequoia 4 X 4

This week I took the Sequoia to a Meetup. In case you don’t know what that is, I’ll explain. Facebook has so many different options in order to socialize, interact, share photos and meet up. Let’s say you want to start a group of like-minded folks such as Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro Women Owners(example). You would register on facebook in a category called meetups. Here is where you post the information about your group, the date, where you will meet, what time and what to bring if applicable. There are categories to respond such as interested, going, share and more. The fun part of the meetups is that they are open to the public and you can really niche your passion, hobby or expand your social circles.

I took the Toyota Sequoia to the ” Wine ” event and parked right in front of UNCORCKED (a wine bar/grill in Scottsdale) which made the 4X4 quite visible to the others attending. The Sequoia is a large (three rows of seating) vehicle so the first thing the guys say is,” How did you park that?” and then ” How much does something like that go for?” My first answer is… it is very easy to park (it’s not a cement truck) and this Sequoia, as tested is about $64,000. Nothing like an ice breaker at a meet up.

I don’t drink when driving so I continued to converse with anyone wanting to know more about my test vehicle. Since you probably weren’t there, I’ll write it all down for you. Toyota has the perfect tag line for this meetup… Let’s Go Places, and I sure did.
