As a girl from New York who thought trucks were for repair men and truck drivers, I’ve certainly changed my perception. Trucks are for everyone; I’ve found that women love trucks as much as men and drive in boots, Birkenstocks, flip flops or HEELS.
Two of my granddaughters, when they saw I had the Tacoma truck, asked for a ride and a chance to examine the inside and out. I’m always happy to see what each generation has to say.
When asked for what they felt was the best feature, they said, “the colorâ€. Since I felt it looked like the United States Army, I asked the local Army Reserve station if I might photograph the Toyota next to one of the Tanks or Green Cargo trucks in their yard. The reserves at the station said that sounded cool but when they asked Army “headquarters public relations†the answer was NO. I totally understand but that didn’t stop the army staff from coming outside to see the truck and they “loved†it.
