2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited AWD SUV #635

Well, here I am, day after Christmas, a Capricorn and turning 70. I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with my family. I was also excited to be evaluating the 2021 Toyota RAV4 HYBRID, limited and AWD SUV.
Since I don’t get to pick and choose my test vehicles, I was thrilled, knowing I would be going golfing, delivering gifts, and transporting a few grandkids in a practical hybrid. Since we would be doing all our celebrating around town (within fifteen miles) I knew the Hybrid would be great on gas (41 City and 38 Highway.)
I have been test driving the RAV4 model since 1996. At that time, it was smaller and didn’t seem to have much get up and go. Now with a 2.5L 4-Cylinder engine, 219 combined net horsepower and electronic on-demand all-wheel drive you feel like you’re in a Highlander Hybrid, one of my favorites.
The interior has heated front seats and a luxury leather look as seen in the video. My favorite things in this SUV were the flat charging station with no wires needed, the heavy-duty washable mat that flowed from the floor of the cargo area and ran upward on the back of the second row of seating. This came in very handy with multiple gifts and golf clubs for three. Did I mention a spilled bottle of apple cider?
The RAV4 was easy to park, unload, keep clean, charge my phone, and enjoy the company of a few extra grandkids on the way to bowling, dinner, golf, spa, and restaurant. What a momentous week with the RAV4 Hybrid and the people I love.
