Towing 3,000 Pounds
2022 SUBARU FORESTER WILDERNESS
By Cathy Droz and Julia Serafine
I was super excited to have the opportunity to drive a 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness…the newest model to the Subaru Wilderness line up. There are so many new and exciting features that come with this vehicle that would make any outdoorsy/off-road connoisseur love this new model. Subaru has increased the Forester Wilderness’ towing capacity to 3,000 lbs, redesigned and strengthened roof rails with a static load limit of 800 lbs and ground clearance is 9.2 inches. Although I knew I wouldn’t be taking this vehicle for a ride outside of the city, it was still fun to drive around town knowing what it is capable of. I mean, having three grandkids in the backseat is basically the wilderness. I loved the StarTex water-resistant upholstery along with how durable in the exterior and interior is. While the ride itself didn’t tame my little animals, it kept their attention with a lot of fun features.
